A southern girl at heart, Kathy Lynn Goldbach was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but readily adopted Columbia, South Carolina as home in 1986. She also lived in Cockermouth, England, where she fell in love with the rugged yet gentle landscape of northern England’s Lake District and for a short while in New Hampshire.
